The 2019 MAA High School Scholarship Winner

The 2019 MAA Scholarship has been awarded to Caroline Gomez (right), a senior at RHAM High School. Next year she will attend  Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York,  where she will major in fashion design. She won a Gold Key in the Scholastic Art Awards show and was the president of the RHAM chapter of the National Arts Honor Society. One of her teachers said of her that she “is a caring, hardworking student who has a maturity beyond her years.”

Manchester Community College (MCC) Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded annually to Manchester Community College (MCC) art students though the MCC Foundation. The students are either continuing their education at MCC or going on to a four-year school to pursue their studies in art. The faculty at MCC selects the recipients. Three $1,000 scholarships were awarded in 2019 through the MCC Foundation to art students continuing their studies at MCC.
