Watercolor workshop with Bivenne Staiger

Cost: $100/per person (Workshop is limited to 20 people.)


Learn how to successfully paint an owl in its natural setting in watercolor. Bivenne demonstrates each stage of the painting process and gives plenty of individual attention. All sorts of exciting watercolor painting techniques are shown and discussed. An ability to create a contour (outline) drawing from a reference provided by the instructor is very helpful.

Artist Bio:


Creator of vibrant wildlife and floral paintings, Bivenne Staiger is the recipient of many
prestigious awards for her work in watercolor, including the Silver Medal from American
Watercolor Society’s 152nd Annual Exhibition (2019), which was also selected as part of the AWS Travel Exhibition. She was a featured artist in Watercolor Artist magazine's January/February2020 issue, is the author of White! Light! Bright! How to Make Your Backgrounds Support and Enhance Your Watercolor Paintings (2022, Schiffer Publishing), and writes a blog on her painting techniques.

She offers classes, workshops, and demonstrations in watercolor throughout southern New England and has been sharing her love for watercolor for over 20 years.
