The Galleries at WORK_SPACE artist videos
Workspace started a library of artist videos (5-8 minutes) on YouTube that they share via social media every Friday at noon. All artists are invited to participate. These videos be anything related to art, the artistic process, and/or the impact art has on artists individually and collectively. Artists can create their own video, or Workspace can conduct and record a Zoom call where the artist is interviewed about their work. Their goal is to showcase artistic friends and spark creativity in their audience. If interested, you can email the gallery for details. See the flyer. Enjoy the past videos!
Manchester Land Conservation Trust Photo of the Month
Email a high-resolution photo of one of the Land Trust properties. Include your name, date and location of photo, and tell them what you like about that particular property. They'll select the photo on or about the 20th of each month, to feature on their website and Facebook page. No prizes, but gratitude to the photographer, and gratitude for the protected open space lands in the Manchester area.
Send photographs to photo@manchesterlandtrust.org with “Land Trust Photo of Month” in the subject line. A list of properties is on the Land Trust website: www.manchesterlandtrust.org Or see the locations on this map.
Monet's Table in Tolland
Heidi Ludwig is looking for artist exhibitors to show their work at Monet's Table Restaurant in Tolland CT. Monet's Table is a fine dining restaurant with great meals. Currently they are only open for Lunch, weekend brunch and catering. Evening dining will start late summer. But... they have wonderful art which they hang on their dining room walls. Each of the 2 dining rooms will hold 5-6 paintings. Work is exhibited for 2 months at a time. Artwork does sell and she does not take a commission. Artwork should be appropriate to all age groups and suitable for restaurant patrons to enjoy. You do not have to be a TCAA member to exhibit. Please contact Heidi Ludwig with inquiries.
