Manchester Town Hall Gallery

This exhibit is a collaboration between MAA members and the Wit & Wisdom Poetry Club.

The gallery on the first floor of Manchester Town Hall is one of our ongoing exhibits that gets changed every three months.

The gallery can be viewed anytime the Manchester Town Hall is open. The exhibit may also be viewed online in our virtual gallery.

Twenty-five submitted paintings have inspired two poems each, which will be displayed with their respective paintings at Town Hall for three months.​
Reception: Friday, August 9, 2024 at 5 PM. All participating artists and poets are asked to bring finger foods. The public is cordially invited. Poetry readings will be the evening’s focus.

Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony: Sunday, October 9, 2 to 4 pm. Ribbon prizes were awarded, accompanied by a critique. MAA members were asked to bring a sweet or savory finger food to share. The reception was free and open to the public.

This was MAA's first virtual exhibit. The challenge was to create a piece with any three colors (and white) in any medium. Artists worked to find the positive in this year’s life and times.
